Play-Doh and toys bring more than just smiles to children in hospitals—they bring comfort, creativity, and a sense of normalcy in an otherwise challenging environment. These simple tools of play provide therapeutic benefits, helping kids express themselves, reduce stress, and engage their imaginations during long or difficult treatments.
For children battling illness, the chance to play can transform a hospital stay into a moment of joy and hope. That’s why, in the month of February each year—the month of love—we’re honoring our daughter Charlie’s courageous fight with cancer by hosting a toy and Play-Doh drive. February symbolizes love, care, and compassion, and we want to channel those values into an effort that shows children in hospitals they are deeply cared for and supported. Through this drive, we hope to spread love, healing, and happiness, one toy at a time.
Our 2024 Play-Doh drive for Mary Bridge Hospital brought in over 900 jars of play-doh, 120 play-doh sets, and 16 packs of play-doh tools. We hope to double this amount in 2025!
